Deadline: The deadline has been extended by one week. Please upload your video by: *** June 1, 2022, 23:59:59 PST *** .
How to: If you misplaced the email with the upload link, just log in to the conference submission website and open the page corresponding to your contribution.
At the ECC2022 all authors are required to create and upload a recording of their presentation as described hereafter.
A standard technical session is 2-hour long. It will contain 7 15-minute-long presentations. The Q&As do not take place after each talk but are concentrated at the end of the session in an ad hoc 15-minutes interactive Q&A slot. A special note for tutorials is provided at the end of this email.
Please note the following guidelines.
A release form granting permission to host the presentation video online (to be accessed by the virtual conference attendees) must be uploaded alongside with the presentation video.
Please use the following guidelines to prepare your video:
*Video length contributed/invited/tutorial papers: 15 minutes
*File size limit for regular/invited/tutorial papers: 100MB file
*File format: mp4
*Minimum height: 480 pixels
*Video aspect ratio: 16:9
Presentations can be shorter than the maximum length allowed.
Except for the above duration and digital constraints, the form of the presentation is left free (though please be sure the video includes the title of the paper, the authors, and a mention to ECC2022).
There are many options to record your video. Zoom is a popular and easy to use option. You can create a meeting, share the screen (your slides), activate the camera of your laptop of computer and then press “record”. More information about this option can be found here: Local recording – Zoom Help Center
Other options are OBS Studio, Vimeo, Loom or the app Explain EDU for I-pad users.
If your video is larger than 100MB, you can reduce it using FreeVideoCompressor in a matter of minutes.
