Eligibility and application procedure
The ECC22 Best Student Paper award recognizes excellence in a paper presented at the European Control Conference whose primary author is a student at the time of submission. In order to be eligible, the candidate must:
- be the primary author of a paper accepted for presentation at ECC22
- be a student (PhD, Master or Bachelor student) registered at an academic institution
- present the paper at the conference
Nominations will open on 18th April 2022 following final submission of all papers. To apply, nominators must upload to PaperCept the nomination application on a letterhead of the nominator. The letter should also include a declaration that the nominee was enrolled as a student at the date of the paper submission. Each nominator can make an application for only one student. The nomination deadline is 20th May 2022.
Award Committee
The ECC 2022 Award Committee chaired by Prof. Maria Prandini (Polytechnic University of Milan) is constituted by: Prof. Eric Kerrigan (Imperial College London), Prof. John Ringwood (Maynooth University) and Prof. Joachim Rudolph (Saarland University).

The Best Student Paper award will be presented during the award ceremony on Friday 15th at 18:00 in CAGB LT200.
